Recently bought a 2015 window van with low mileage and I am currently converting to a day van with rock and roll bed. The service I received was excellent, including how to best convert the van myself. On returning home, I noticed the front tyres were particularly worn. Even though I live nearly 200 miles away , Southbourne Cliff Motors aka Funkydubs, agreed to pay for two new tyres. Thank you!
Initially pleased with our newly converted van, paying 36000 for a 66 plate with 3.5k on the clock. We have had a problem with the rear seat headrest that was faulty not being replaced one year on. So no major problems until we slightly scraped the side and needed it patch up, taking it to a number of body works for quotes. Imagine our surprise to be told by all of them that it's been previously filled and sprayed before on the door and side panel, with not a great job done! ( by the experienced eye) . I can't tell you how much it's taken the shine out of owning our VW and I feel ripped off paying 36k for a previously damaged vehicle. So if you're considering going to these dealers , take a very good look and ask questions regarding where they get the vans from. Oh, and don't expect them to replace your faulty headrest!!
This car dealer has been here for a very long time although they sold their large forecourt some years ago and flats now stand there. I bought my 62 plate VW camper here 2 years ago (summer 2014) and basically, trading as FunkyDubs, that is what they sell. Spotless ex panel vans converted to day vans, basic campers or full on camper vans. Almost all their stock is low mileage and still under manufacturer warranty. My van has been great for the last 2 years and we have been everywhere in it.
