Shame I have to even give them one star don't take my word for it take a look at the other reviews no smoke without fire award-winning I wonder what for I have a few ideas
When I called they asked me mail and phone number and then started to annoy me with many texts and mails of their stupid apartments. I blocked them and they'll never have a penny from me.
Spoke to a girl in lettings very rude. Not helpful at all - definitely doesn't know her please or thankyous.
Mark Anderson is a massive credit to slades. I fell in love with a beautiful bungalow on the website when I called to view it had gone. I agreed to see another, it was ok but didn't really feel for the place much then mark told us the one I originally liked was back on and we could view immediately. It was 100 times better in reality and by the second room I was already arranging where furniture would go in my head. There were a lot of hoops to jump through but Mark was there every step of the way and 3 weeks later we moved in. We have been here 7 months now and our lives have all changed for the better. I adore our home. The neighbours are great. And it's a beautiful area. Please let Mark know his passion for his job shines through and he is definitely a credit to your company! And most of all thank you mark for all your hard work. X
Just a word of caution and I wouldn't normally do this but I am so upset by what has happened. We are looking for 2/3 bed house, and we have been open and honest with Agents what our circumstances are and why we are moving. We received a text from Slades in Bournemouth and arranged a viewing after checking we definitely would be what the Landlord would be looking for in Tenants. I also said if anything changed please could they tell me as we are currently in Reading some 100 odd miles away so getting down to the area is a costly mission of trains, buses and cabs. My partner has gone down as arranged this morning- we had been due to view yesterday but they cancelled due to a mix up with the tenant.Partner gets there on time, well on time in fact. They tenant opens the door and tells him all the viewings are done for today. So I phoned them and spoke to Mark at Slades who was exceptionally rude and denied the viewing was today- like I'm going to book something and then let my partner travel down all that way and at that cost for the wrong day. Then he said it was pointless as the Landlord wont take us due to having two children! He was very dismissive, very rude and I am utterly heartbroken. We are living in an awful area at the moment where we've had to move our children out of their school due to appallingly bad bullying, he has work to start as soon as we arrive and Slades have just cost us time, money and caused upset to us by being so rude as to book us in and then mess us around. His attitude was he didn't book it so it wasn't his problem.I doubt very much he would have been promoting us to the owner either but I bet he would have taken a holding fee though. Just avoid them at all costs.
